The Los Santos County Sheriff’s Office (LSSO) is the primary law enforcement agency responsible for policing the unincorporated and rural areas of Los Santos County.
Its jurisdiction includes desert communities, coastal towns, and major highways outside the city limits, working alongside the Los Santos Police Department when needed.
Founded in the mid-1800s, the Sheriff’s Office evolved from early frontier law enforcement into a modern county agency. Today, the LSSO provides patrol services, criminal investigations, jail and court security, and specialized response units, maintaining law and order across the county.
